Dallas, Texas, October 9, 2014 - On Thursday, October 9th  the Addison Rotary Foundation presented a check to Ronald McDonald House of Dallas in the amount of $200,000.00 - the proceeds from the club's annual golf tournament held yearly since 1991.  Anne Capps, Executive Vice President of American Receivable Corporation is an active club member and board member, American Receivable Corporation has been a corporate sponsor for over fifteen years.

Now in its 24th year, the Addison Rotary Open ("ARO") took place at Gleneagles Country Club on September 8, 2014.  Approximately 225 golfers made the event a competitive and fun filled day.  Since 2010, this event has raised more than $1 million for the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and is the charity's second largest annual fundraiser.  2014 ARO chairman, Lance Pendley said "The most amazing part of this story is that The Addison Rotary Club is a relatively small group with about 45 members which means that each member has raised approximately $22,000.00  over the past 5 years."  Since the operational costs of a night's stay at RMHD is $125, it is estimated that the ARO has raised funds to pay for over 8,000 nights at the the House with the $1 million raised.
