Spreading the Christmas Spirit

Cindy and Jack Stieber spread the Christmas spirit as Meals on Wheels volunteers Christmas Day. 

In addition to the holiday meal delivery a stocking full of goodies was provided to each client.  "Delivering to individuals that are home bound or have no family close by made the day even more special" Jack said. 

Jack, president of American Receivable and the company have been active volunteers with the Visiting Nurses Association/ Meals on Wheels for some time.  Giving back to the community and helping those in need is practiced every day at American Receivable.

The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce held it's annual holiday party and toy drive Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.  Brad Gurney, Executive Vice President represented American Receivable Corporation at this years event.  Brad and American Receivable have been actively involved with the North Dallas Chamber for well over 20 years and support the community and civic work they do.

Toys and donations from this years event support Santa Cops of Dallas who assist members of the community that have been victims or crime.

The Young Risk Management Association, North Texas Chapter, (YRMA) partnered with the SPCA of North Texas on December 4th for its annual Tacky Sweater Party to help raise funds toward its mission. All proceeds of the event went to the organization. The SPCA of Texas is the leading animal welfare agency in North Texas with two shelters and three spay/neuter clinics located in Dallas and McKinney. It serves as an active resource center providing an array of programs and services that bring people and animals together. The agency serves all the metro DFW area.


The Risk Management Association (RMA), founded in 1914, is a not-for-profit, member-driven professional association serving the financial services industry. Today, RMA has approximately 2,600 institutional members. These include banks of all sizes as well as nonbank financial institutions. Chapters are run by RMA Associates on a volunteer basis and they provide members with opportunities in their local communities for education, training, and networking throughout all stages of their financial services career. YRMA is the division of RMA which consists of early career individuals to help raise awareness about RMA and provide young professionals in the risk community a chance to network with each other.


Tiffany Strasner, Vice President of Business Development for American Receivable Corporation is the immediate past president of YRMA and an active board member.


American Receivable Corporation provides financing programs for companies experiencing cash flow problems. For over 35 years they have helped businesses large and small find solutions to their financing needs.

Tiffany Strasner supports alumni at the Texas Tech Quarterly Business Briefing Luncheon

The Texas Tech Quarterly Business Briefing Luncheon (“TTQBB”) presented by Southwest Airlines was held December 3, 2014 at the Dallas County Club. The TTQBB is a series of four events held in Dallas each year that provides opportunities for Texas Tech alumni to meet one another, hear from prominent guest speakers and raise money for scholarships for deserving Dallas County students attending Texas Tech.

Over the past five years, the TTQBB has raised more than $250,000 for scholarships and is the largest event put on by any Texas Tech alumni chapter in the nation. This year’s guest Speaker for the TTQBB was Kent Hance , Chancellor Emeritus of the Texas Tech University System.


Tiffany Strasner, Vice President of Business Development for American Receivable Corporation is a graduate of Texas Tech as well as a very active alumni association member. Tiffany serves on this year’s business briefing committee and the speaker coordinator for this event.
