Giving back to the community and particularly to youngsters who might not otherwise have a Christmas is something very important to American Receivable.

Volunteers boxed and sorted food for distribution to the food banks 260 member agencies. National Day of Service is part of the on-going Hunger Action Month at the North Texas Food Bank.

The 22nd annual Addison Rotary Open benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas was held September 10, 2012 at Glenn Eagles Country Club. Over 233 players were registered for the four man scramble that commenced at 12:30.
Near perfect weather made for an exciting and challenging day of golf for the teams. At the conclusion of the tournament players enjoyed dinner and live and silent auctions with chances to bid on trips, sports memorabilia, artwork, restaurant gift certificates, jewelry and much, much more.

The one day event focused on ways to grow business revenue and included training sessions with

The Women’s Finance Exchange (WFE) is a group of Dallas area professional financial business women who support women of similar interest within the community. Fostering professional development while giving back to the community by promoting and enhancing the welfare of women is the basis on which WFE was founded in 1998.

Anne Capps and the Addison Rotary Club (www.addisonrotary.org) have officially kicked off their fund raising
efforts for the 22nd annual Addison Rotary Open benefiting the
Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (www.rmhdallas.org). This year’s tournament will be held September
10, 2012 at Glenn Eagles Country Club and will include
pre-tournament events as well as a dinner, and live and silent auctions
following the tournament. GLM DFW, Inc. (www.glmwastemgmt.com)
is the title sponsor of the event for
the third consecutive year.
The Ronald McDonald House of
Dallas serves as a “home-away-from–home” for families of seriously ill or
injured children who are hospitalized or receiving treatment in local
facilities. Established in 1981, the Dallas house has served over 29,000
families and will host approximately 2,400 families this year.
Proceeds from the tournament directly benefit the Ronald
McDonald hours of Dallas. The 2011
tournament raised in excess of $185,000.00.

Anne Capps, Executive Vice President of American Receivable Corporation recently attended the International Factoring Association (http://www.factoring.org/) national factoring conference held in Huntington Beach, California. The conference is held annually and is the premier factoring industry event.
The three day conference spotlighted industry news, legal topics, new products and services available to factoring companies, panel discussion and legislative developments within the industry. Noted experts from around the country made up the various session speakers and presenters. The event allows the attendees to network with their peers to discuss relevant industry issues.

Pam Rodden dominates tournament…
Fishing season has begun and not a minute too soon for Pam Rodden, Chief Operating Officer for American Receivable Corporation (www.americanreceivable.com). Dominating the Dallas Bass ‘N Gals event held last weekend and bringing in “Big Bass”, Pam is off to a great start.
Pam and The Lady Bass Anglers Association (LBAA) (www.Ladybassanglers.com) will be kicking off their 2nd season on Lake Ray Hubbard in the coming weeks. The top lady bass anglers from various states across the US will be competing to win the first tournament of the 2012 LBAA season.
The LBAA Lake Ray Hubbard tournament kicks off Thursday, March 22nd, with a 5:45am launch from the docks at the Bass Pro Shop in Garland. Daily weigh-ins will take place at the Bass Pro Shop in Garland starting at 3:00pm. All lady anglers will compete Thursday and Friday with the highest cumulative two day weight taking home the monetary prize. Saturday, March 24th, the LBAA will host the New Beginning Center Charity Team Bass Tournament which is open to the public. The winners of the team tournament will win a guaranteed $1000 cash prize. All proceeds will be donated to New Beginning Center.
